Thankful

So I work with my ex. We dated for 9 months and in the beginning I was devestated, but everyday I'm reminded why we aren't together and become very thankful. He is no where near what I want in a man and so glad to finally be away from our relationship. It did take me a few months to discover that, but after I did I'm truly thankful that God has someone else for me.

Waking up to Reality

When I was in Mexico, reality was a thousand miles away. Then Monday morning came around and I was slammed at work. It seemed like the problems that I left behind just snowballed and I'm stressed trying to work them out. Vacations are only good when you are in paradise because when you get back it seems like a bad idea that you left. I know things will get better at work, but I wish I was back in the island already!!

Mexico was a blast!! I'm so glad I made my way across the border. I went snorkeling, kayaking, sailing and I swam with the dolphins. Everyone should take a least 1 trip by theirselves. I did however fall in love with this Spaniard bartender in Miami. We just flirted back and forth--the only thing you can do when you live in 2 different states!!

Ranger's Game

Tuesday the group ventured out to Arlington for the Ranger's game. Despite the rain, we had a great time. Very quickly the rain stopped and the clouds subsided giving us awesome weather to take in a baseball game. Ahh, the pasttimes of summer
