Retreat

I've been needing a vacation really badly and I finally get my retreat. I'm going to Cozumel for some beach therapy. Only 3 more weeks away!!!

Reliving my Journal

I was with Austen for 2 years and in the 2 years I managed to loose all but 1 friend. So when we broke up I didn't have a support system to help me through. I was reading my journal the other day and it mentioned that I didn't have friends or a life and by the end of the journal I was going to get a life--wasn't sure how I was going to do that but that it will happen. Well now it's 2008 and I have so many great friends in my life. It was neat to see that I built this great life for myself and I have great friends through Church, Book Club, etc.

When we don't see that change has occured God simply sends us a little reminder that He's working in our lives.

God's Timing

Thus says the Lord, In an acceptable and favorable time I have heard and answered you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you; and I will preserve you and give you for a covenant to the people, to raise up and establish the land and to apportion and cause them to inherit the desolate heritages.

Sex and the City

I've often wondered about the phenomenon that is Sex and the City. I've come to the realization that it's the friendships they carry throughout the series. It's amazing the power of a strong girl group. Most of you know I'm going through some rough times. Last friday was a much needed girls night and 12 girls showed up for support! It was so great to catch up and talk about topics we've never explored before. I feel so luck to have such great women in my life!
